Oldham Athletic have had a very disappointing season on and off the pitch. Owner Abdallah Lemsagam is not a favourite amongst the fans and they have made this known throughout the season, by protesting against him.

They were relegated against Salford City which is more known for the protests against Lemsagam. Fans entered the pitch on the 78th minute and remained there for over an hour. The match was abandoned but then restarted 90 minutes later, however, no fans were allowed in the stadium to witness the Latic’s final few minutes in the football league.

With 13 players released they will be expecting a summer rebuild as they try and win promotion straight back to the football league next season.
