League leaders Birmingham City firsts put five past a poor Derby side, extending their lead at the top of the Midlands 4C table.
The first half was tight, with little sustained possession for either side – however, it was the visitors who broke the deadlock on 33 minutes when a corner taken by Liam Walker was headed home by Rhamel Boateng via a deflection.
Any hopes of a Derby response faded quickly after the break. Birmingham doubled their lead on 48 minutes when David Robinson finished calmly from a through ball.
A stunning free kick from Oliver Dominy-Lewis made it three, before Liam Walker tapped in from close range moments later to make it four.
Birmingham added a fifth on the hour, David Robinson scoring again after another incisive pass from Eric Nana-Edusei.
The visitors enjoyed the better chances for the remainder of the match, with Derby struggling to contain the opposition.
