Jose Mourinho has been appointed AS Roma head coach for the 2021-22 Serie A season.
The news comes just over two weeks after his release from Tottenham Hotspur. He will replace Paulo Fonseca once the season has concluded.
A statement about Mourinho’s appointment was released on the official AS Roma Twitter accounts on Tuesday afternoon.

Jose Mourinho back in Italy and trying to take down his former club, Inter, coached by Antonio Conte, who just took down his former club, Juventus.

Hope Jose does well in Italy. Definitely the best league for him. Slower, more tactical and defensive. If he can't make it there he can't make it anywhere
