Coronavirus has caused many problems across the country, including panic buying.

While some are waiting for the news on how many cases there are and what the government is doing to stop the spread of the virus, others are stocking up every day essentials in case they need to self-isolate.

Toilet paper and hand sanitiser have become the most bought items during the pandemic what has led to empty shelves in stores around the country.

This morning, our reporter visited shops in Derby city centre, such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Wilko, Home Bargains, Poundland, Boots and Superdrug, to check if people have joined panic buying.
