People have been waiting patiently to get their hands on a bargain this morning after non-essential shops have re-opened.
Many shops have sales going on after months of stock was unable to be sold during lockdown.
Primark in particular has seen lengthy queues. In Derby, dozens of people lined up outside the shop entrance in Corn Market.
The snow we’ve seen over the last couple days has not made an appearance yet, instead sun shone on the happy shoppers.
The queue quickly shrunk as people were efficiently let into the store.
Inside, people were reminded of social distancing rules with staff and security relaying the information.
Primark employees have been posting videos of clothes available on TikTok in the lead up to the re-opening.
This has increased people’s excitement and desire to visit non-essential shops today.
