Keeper Ben Taylor’s goal helped helped Derby university men’s firsts to a 16-3 Premier North League victory over Staffordshire firsts.
Derby’s Devante Ramsey, Alex Lofts, Callum Hanks and Dionisio Barai Evora scored early on, making it 4-0 in the first five minutes.
Derby pressure continued as goalkeeper Taylor found himself on the scoresheet at the start of the second half.
Ramsey managed a four-goal haul, Hanks, Evora and Lofts secured hat-tricks and Aidan Boyle scored twice, in the British Universities & Colleges competition.
