Belper Town has announced its first signings of the summer by recruiting the key members of last season’s squad.

Nailers’ manager, Lee Attenborough, has set out his intentions of maintaining the core of his squad by signing his most valuable players from last season.

Among the list of contracts secured are, Sidik Atcha (centre back), Dan Moore (goalkeeper), and Mason Warren (left-back).

Last season’s top goal scorer, Kevin Bastos (striker), has also been announced to be extending his stay at the Raygar Stadium for the 2024/25 campaign.

Two young prospects produced by the club’s academy have signed contracts for the upcoming campaign, Lewis Austin and Toby Gregory, who both featured progressively through last season.

Fan-favourite midfielder, Curtis Burrows, was also among the list of retained players for the 2024/25 season.

In the announcement, Belper Town assured fans that further negotiations with players from last season are still under way.

The Nailers also teased the reveal of some new signings that have already signed for the club this summer, but are yet to be announced.

Belper continue to build their squad for next season’s Northern Premier League Division One East campaign, as they look to improve on last season’s sixth place finish.
