Phillip Schofield’s departure from This Morning has sparked rumours about who will be his replacement.

The new presenter will join current host Holly Willoughby on the This Morning sofa.

Whoever is chosen will join the BAFTA award-winning show Monday to Thursday, taking the British public through a mix of news, competitions and entertaining moments.

We’d love to know who you would like to see on your screens and you can vote in our poll!

The current options are…

1) Alison Hammond – 2/1

This Morning presenter Alison Hammond is the current favourite to take Schofield’s place.

The current odds are 2/1 after a surge in support.

Alison Hammond is a fan favourite presenting with Dermot O’Leary, with many memorable and funny moments over her time in the show.

Her highlights include accidentally pushing a man into the water at Liverpool Docks while presenting the weather, showing Britney Spears her dance moves and getting proposed to by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

She has been stepping in alongside Holly, creating a rarely seen female duo.

Will she be given the opportunity to create even more memorable moments?

2) Piers Morgan – 10/1

A controversial rumour has sparked around the possibility of Piers Morgan greeting the UK’s public each morning.

He is the only contender who has never worked on the show.

Despite Morgan himself confirming that he won’t be a part of the ITV show, there are still betting odds of 10/1.

Is he planning to surprise audiences? While the journalist is loved and hated by many, he may be used as a tool to get people talking.

Morgan publicly walked out of his last post at Good Morning Britain on March 9.

3) Dermot O’Leary – 5/2

Dermot O’Leary is Alison Hammond’s usual co-presenter but hasn’t racked up the same popularity.

His odds are currently sitting at 5/2 in the betting.

He has plenty of This Morning experience under his belt with his usual Friday and bank-holiday slot with Hammond since 2013.

He’s also been filling in the gaps where needed since Phillip Schofield’s departure.

4) Rylan Clark – 3/1

X-Factor contestant-turned TV personality Rylan Clark has been slowing working his way up the This Morning ladder for the last few years.

From sofa guest to a main stand-in presenter, audiences enjoy his charm and quick wit.

Clark recently announced a break from his BBC Radio 2 show, creating more speculation around his possible permanent spot alongside Holly Willoughby.

His odds currently stand at 3/1 – just behind Alison Hammond.

5) Vernon Kay – 3/1

Finally, Vernon Kay has also entered the running.

Similar to Rylan Clark, he is in front of the This Morning regularly as a stand-in presenter after being welcomed back to the show in 2021.

Despite some controversy around this announcement at the time, Kay has been a popular choice in the betting odds, sitting at 3/1.

But, who do you think should be Holly Willoughby’s permanent co-host?
