The NFL has announced its international series for the 22/23 season with Germany set to host a game for the first time in history.
The first ever NFL fixture played in Germany will be played between Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Seattle Seahawks. The game will feature in the Allianz Arena — home of FC Bayern Munich — in Munich, the league announced Wednesday. It’ll be played November 13 at 14:30 GMT.
Back in February, the NFL officially unveiled the teams who would be participating in the international series for the 2022 season. These six include the already mentioned Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers.

Here is the full slate of the four games held in Europe during the 2022 NFL season:
Minnesota Vikings VS. New Orleans Saints
- Where: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium | London, U.K.
- When: 14.30 GMT on Oct. 2
This maybe two teams in limbo but this tie actually has a rich history. This will be a rematch of the 2017 playoff game dubbed the “Minneapolis Miracle” and will feature two teams who finished just outside of the playoffs in 2021.
This really is an offense vs defense game. The Vikings have a variety of offensive options in Kirk Cousins, Dalvin Cook, and Justin Jefferson must try and out manoeuvre a viscous Cameron Jordan-led Saints defense.
New York Giants VS. Green Bay Packers
- Where: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium | London, U.K.
- When: 14.30 GMT on Oct. 9
Green Bay are the only team not to have played in London since the NFL first arrived in the city in 2007.
The Packers would not voluntarily give up a home game but now with the new seventh game the Packers have an extra home game and are willing to sacrifice it for a trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where it is expected a stellar crowd of ‘Cheese heads’ will greet the Packers.
This matchup will feature the NFL MVP in Aaron Rodgers and his rejuvenated offense against, a Giants team taking its first steps into a new era with head coach Brian Daboll and an injection of young talent.
Denver Broncos VS. Jacksonville Jaguars
- Where: Wembley Stadium | London, U.K.
- When: 14.30 GMT on Oct. 30
The Jaguars are making their ninth trip to the U.K. since the league began hosting overseas games and will round out the three U.K. games when they face the Broncos. With Jacksonville’s owner also owning Fulham F.C. London has sort of become a home away from home.
Jacksonville will face a familiar face as their former offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, who is now the head coach of the Broncos. It’ll also be the first time the UK crowd can see Russell Wilson in a Broncos uniform as the superstar QB left the Seahawks in free agency. Wilson is a popular figure in the UK it will be interesting to see his reception.
With this being the first ever game to take place in Germany, tickets will be difficult to get a hold of but if you fancy a trip to Munich there is always…

Seattle Seahawks VS. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Where: Allianz Arena — home of FC Bayern Munich | Munich, Germany
- When: 14.30 GMT on Nov. 13
The 2020 Super Bowl champs will again feature the greatest of all time Tom Brady following his decision to unretire. The Bucs feature a newly constructed roster that was built to win now under new head coach Todd Bowles. They’ll take on a new-look Seahawks team in the midst of its first season in a decade without Russell Wilson as the starting quarterback.
