Fans of Burger King will be delighted to learn they will be able to claim a free Whopper this Wednesday (May 18) at participating restaurants.

People who download the app will be able to enter their offers tab and claim either a beef or plant-based Whopper free of charge.

The offer is available at participating restaurants only and will not cover “motorway service locations, airports, train stations and holiday parks.”

Burger King Derby is one of the restaurants confirmed to be taking part.

If you miss out this time, you will have the opportunity again before too long, as the event also occurs on June 23.

Other fast-food chains, such as McDonald’s, have held similar deals in the past. For the entirety of April, they offered percentage deals off of their products for those using an app.

Burger King Germany has also released a series of new burgers that are stirring controversy online.

Burger King says that these latest additions are being made available specifically for Mother’s Day, to represent the peculiar food cravings women can have when pregnant.

The interesting burgers include combinations of fried egg, bananas, pancakes, ice cream and beef burgers.
