Derby County Community Trust has announced the postponement of the Derby 10K which was due to take place next Sunday.
We are announcing the postponement of the Derby 10K on Sunday 29th March.
A new date for the race will be released as soon as possible.

They released a statement on their website saying:
“After recent developments regarding the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, we are today (Monday 16th) announcing the postponement of the Derby 10K on Sunday 29th March.
“We appreciate the huge amounts of time and effort invested by runners, suppliers and partners and are working behind the scenes in consultation with Derby City Council and all other agencies involved in making the race happen to ensure we can communicate with you as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
The statement says a new date for the race will be released as soon as possible.
Once this date is announced all runners will be given the option to race on the new date or apply for a refund if they aren’t available to race on the new date.
