On the 25th March 2000, one of football’s hottest prospects was born.
Now, in 2019 we are witnessing his talents and abilities, as well as watching him break into England’s first team.
Jadon Sancho is today celebrating his 19th birthday. Only five days prior, he was receiving the 2019 NxGN Award as the World’s Best Talent, handed to the best player in the world aged 19 or under.
Just three days ago, he was making his starting debut for the England first team, completing the whole 90 minutes.
After moving from Manchester City to Borussia Dortmund in the summer, Sancho has become a household name, scoring nine goals this season in Germany and currently having the most assists in the Bundesliga and the joint most assists in Europe.
Labelled as England’s “golden boy”, Sancho is impressing England boss Gareth Southgate and fans alike with his stellar performances and stats, and he’s only just turned 19-years-old.
