Rainbows Bubble Rush Derby 2018

Thousands of people are expected to take part in a charity run for a children’s hospice.

Rainbows Hospice has organised a Bubble Rush, on Saturday 7th July, taking place at Markeaton Park starting at 9am.

This is the third year this event has run and it contributes to the funding of the charity.

The Bubble Rush will begin with foam coming from four bubble stations pumping out bright coloured bubbles.

The charity helps to support people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses, helping raise funds in an entertaining way.

The hospice team helps to improve the quality of life, and supports parents and families.

Markeaton Park hosts the 5k run, with children aged 15 or under paying a ÂŁ7.50 entry fee and adult ÂŁ25.

Hospices rely on funds raised by the public to allow them to continue to care for patients.

The Bubble Rush is open to everyone, as it is wheelchair friendly, with no minimum or maximum age limit.

Chief Executive of Rainbows hospice for children and young people, said: “Rainbows has continued to go from strength to strength this year.”
