Authors bring some of your favourite worlds to life. Everyone has heard of J. K. Rowling, Stephen King and Roald Dahl, but what about the ones that fly under the radar?
Here are 10 of my favourite underrated authors:

R. J. Furness
R. J. is one of the kindest people Iâve had the pleasure of working with, and his book dissent: RENEGADES has an orgo!! If you donât know what an orgo is, then let me tell you â YOU WANT ONE. His books are perfect for all ages, and with his new Orgo Runners series being released for younger children, he really is one you need on your TBR list.
Nick Lake
I recently had the privilege of reading Satellite by Nick Lake and it was potentially my favourite read of 2018 so far. It had such power, and so much emotion pouring through it that I couldnât put it down. I am in shock that there are so few people talking about this wonderful book â so please go and read it.

Trev Lince
Trev is a brand new author, and you definitely canât tell. His book, Room 119, was one of my favourite reads of 2017, and I am still so in love with it. He writes with such talent youâd think heâd been writing all of his life. The book leaves you appreciating everything you have, and thatâs such a priceless gift. He deserves all the love for his book.

Joshua Winning
I was recently introduced to Joshua after I read the first book in the Sentinel series and I loved it. It was action packed, it was fun and I really wish more people knew about his talent. His newest book, Vicious Rumer is out soon â and let me tell you that is AMAZING. Think badass female protagonist that also has a very sassy personality â what isnât to love.

G. S. Denning
I loved Warlock Holmes: A Study in Brimstone as soon as I picked it up and the second book just re-ignited my love once again. He takes the best parts of the original Sherlock stories, and reinvents them in his own brilliant way to make them fun, interesting and gripping all at once. If youâre a Sherlock fan you need this series. If youâre notâĤ you still need it.
