Marvel has seen a successful return to the small screen this year with the release of Wandavision and The Falcon and Winter Soldier series available on Disney+.

The company had TV series in the past such as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013-2020) and Daredevil (2015-2018).

Last Friday (April 23rd) fans watched the season finale for The Falcon and Winter Soldier as Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) continued the Captain America legacy.

Similarly, Wandavision scored high with an 8.1/10.

The TV mini-series’ come after a climactic ending to the Avengers with the release of Avengers: Endgame in 2019.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has exceeded expectations so far for the much anticipated ‘Phase Four’.

‘Phase Three’ ended the Infinity Saga closing with Spider-man: Far From Home (2019).

So what can we expect to see in the future? And who?

Loki mini-series

Fans will be excited to see their favourite God of Mischief return with his own TV mini-series.

The last time we saw Loki (Tom Hiddleston) was in Avengers: Endgame where he disappeared with the tesseract, one of most powerful objects in the universe.

In doing so, he fractured multiple timelines in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the new series, he is picked up by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) organisation and forced to fix the timelines he broke.

The show also features Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius, a member of the TVA.

Episodes will be released weekly starting June 11th.

And there are already rumours that a season two is in production.

Black Widow movie

The long-awaited Black Widow movie was originally set to his theatres in 2020 but was pushed back due to the pandemic to May 2021.

However this was changed again but we can officially say that Black Widow will be available in cinemas and on Disney+ from July 9th.

The film is set after the events of Captain America:Civil War (2016) and follows Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) as she confronts her past.

A main characteristic of the spy is her secretive and troubled life before joining S.H.I.L.D. and the Avengers.

Fans have loved the Black Widow character since her introduction in Iron Man 2 (2010) and were sad to see her death in the aforementioned Avengers: Endgame.

Eternals follows a group for ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for millennia but following the events of Avengers: Endgame have come out to face mankind’s most ancient enemy.
